UNITA Identity Provider – Keycloak
The UNITA Identity Provider, based on Keycloak, is the central authentication and authorization platform used to securely manage digital identities across all services within the UNITA Alliance. It enables Single Sign-On (SSO) access to key UNITA applications such as the Virtual Campus, Learning Opportunities Catalogue, Agora, and others.

This federated identity management system ensures that students, staff, and collaborators can log in using their institutional credentials, while benefiting from a unified and seamless user experience across services. The platform supports multiple authentication protocols (OIDC, SAML, etc.) and complies with European standards for digital identity and data protection.By streamlining access and identity management, the UNITA Identity Provider strengthens cybersecurity, interoperability, and user experience, forming a vital part of the digital infrastructure that supports collaboration across the alliance.
