Schools use method applications (for example from a publisher) in which pupils/students are supported in learning and are tested at the end or in between. Pupils/students are also tested using special test applications or assessments. It is important that the results of these tests can be transferred from an educational application to the pupil administration system or student information system or pupil monitoring system of a school. And, before the pupil/student can get started, certain pupil/student data from the school must be transferred to these applications in order to set up the test environment for the pupils/students. The agreement Exchange of Pupil Data and Results (UWLR) is intended to facilitate the exchange of pupil/student data and results.
In this version 2.3 of the UWLR agreement, the ECK-iD is used as the primary identifier (exchange key) of the pupil, only under the condition that the ECK-iD is not available for the pupil may the LAS-key be used. To this end, the profiles “Narrow set” and “LVS set” have been adjusted accordingly with some minor adjustments to the student data. In 2022, a new profile “Narrow set for VO” was added, taking into account the specific information needs in secondary education.
UWLR will no longer be developed as an overarching agreement.
