Digital Item Declaration Language (DIDL)

Last modified on ...

Agreements on the use of standards are necessary to allow the knowledge chain in higher education to function. This chain ensures that scientific publications and professional literature are collected, made accessible and further disseminated. The Digital Item Declaration Language (DIDL) agreement, together with MODS, forms the exchange format for the metadata offered by WO and HBO. DIDL functions as the container for MODS and digital objects.
